How to Sell on Amazon For Beginners – Complete Step by Step Tutorial (2019)

In this video, I’m going to show you the step by step process on how to set up an Amazon seller account, how to sell on Amazon and literally everything you need to know about creating an account and a complete Amazon tutorial.

1. Go to the Amazon Seller Central Website – Click Register Now then click Start Selling.
2. Create Amazon Seller Central Account – Enter your Information
3. Set up Amazon Seller Central Account – Fill up the information, Verify your account by entering a one time pin you’d receive when you enter your phone number, Set up your billing method, Enter your credit card information, Set up your deposit method and Provide your Tax information
4. Verify Identity
5. Adding the Product – Go up to Catalog, Add products, if you’re selling a product that already exists, you can search for it then you can add your product to that listing but I don’t recommend that, what I highly recommend is for you to create your own passion product instead. If you do, you can just click on Create a new product listing. Select the appropriate category or research on the best keywords you can use for your product.
6. Product Name – Make sure it contains keywords.
7. Product Images – Hire someone who can do computer rendering for your main image and add as many side photos as possible. I also recommend your photos to have 1000×1000 pixels so people can zoom in your photos.
8. Adding back end keywords – Go to inventory, Manage Inventory then click Edit. Fill up vital information, variations, offer where you can see the tax code. You can use A_GEN_TAX which means it has sales tax while you can put A_GEN_NO_TAX if your product has no sales tax. You can also find Compliance, (more…)

Jungle Scout vs. Viral Launch – Best Product Research Tool?

I realized that there are a lot of biased opinions out there as to which one is better, Viral Launch or Jungle Scout. Some people tend to push whichever one they are an affiliate for so in this video, I will give you my unbiased opinion about these two. I’m an affiliate of both that’s why it doesn’t matter to me which one you choose. In fact, you might not need either of these and I’ll talk about that at the end of this video

Same features that they have both:
– Keyword Research Tool
– Competitor and Product Tracking
– Sales Estimate

JUNGLE SCOUT

Pros
1. Available in 10 Countries – More countries mean more options which helps if you want to sell internationally.
2. Keyword Research Tools – It is included on all plans even on the lowest level plan.
3. Opportunity Score – It will tell you how good of an opportunity a specific product.
4. Greg Mercer – The founder and CEO of Jungle Scout actually sells on Amazon and is active in the community.

Cons
1. Only for Product Research

VIRAL LAUNCH

Pros
1. Product Discovery Tool – Has more advanced feature and has more filters which could really help you discover your next product
2. Monitor Change in Review Percentage
3. Market Intelligence
4. Helps you launch – They do have software and tools that will help you launch your Amazon Product

Cons
1. No Keyword Research on Lower Plans

Now before I announce the winner, you might not even need either one of these tools. A free product research method, in my opinion, blows the two of these out of the water. Most typical gurus would tell you that these tools can be very helpful in finding a product when you do Private Labeling but I don’t recommend doing that. I recommend instead, creating a passion product and (more…)

Amazon FBA Private Label vs. Wholesale vs. Resale vs. Creating Your Own Product

Resale Online Arbitrage – This is when you find something that you can buy for cheap and resell it on Amazon.

Pros
1. Quick Easy Money
2. Cost very little to start – The only startup cost is buying the actual product.
Con
1. Not scalable at all – It takes you going out and buying stuff and reselling it on Amazon. You need to constantly be hunting for new sales or new cheap opportunities that are you can then go and resell.

Whosale – Buying a lot of products from big companies and selling it on Amazon so you make a profit.

Pros
1. Easy to get started – All you have to do is find someone who is willing to sell their products at a wholesale price and then start selling on Amazon.
2. Semi Predictable Income – You know how much you should buy and how much you are going to sell compare with Online Arbitrage.
Cons
1. Costs more to start – There usually gonna have higher minimums to buy products on a wholesale price.
2. Suppliers can cut you off
3. Hard to sell off Amazon – It’s difficult to sell these products on your own website.

Private Labeling- Find a product that already exists, find a manufacturer then put your own label on it.

Pros
1. Good Margins – You’ll make the most money back as to compare with the other first two methods.
2. Suppliers can’t just cut you off – You can just find a different manufacturer when your original supplier cut you off.
3. Predictable Income
Cons
1. Nothing special about you – If it’s easy for you to get started for you, then that means it’s also easy for other people to get started as well.
2. Hard to sell off Amazon – It’s difficult to sell off Amazon unless you’re doing a great job of creating a brand.
3. Cost more to (more…)

Amazon FBA vs. Drop Shipping

What is the best way to make money online? Is it Amazon FBA Private Label or is it Dropshipping? In this video, I will go over the Pros and Cons of both of these methods and help you decide which one is right for you.

Amazon FBA Private labeling

Private Labeling is where you find a product that a manufacturer is making, make your own branded version of that product and sell it on Amazon.

Pros
1. Amazon handles the tough part – Amazon sends out the shipment, handle all the returns so you can basically live anywhere, work anywhere and work on your own schedule.
2. Better margins – This means you make more money for each sale you get. The reason is with Private Labeling, you are working directly with the manufacturer, you’re basically creating your own product while with dropshipping, you’re selling someone else’s product.
3. You don’t need to build your own website – You need to create your own website and drive traffic to your website with dropshipping while Amazon FBA, you can just create a pretty simple product page.
4. People Trust Amazon – People may hesitate to handle their credit card websites to unknown website while Amazon is something they already know and trust.

Cons
1. Takes money to start – I do have a trick where you can get your first production run completely paid for but for typical private labeling method, it cost a decent amount of money to get started.
2. Amazon can ban you. – They can kick you off when you violate rules and it is scary because you don’t own the platform.

Dropshipping

Pros
1. Easy to Get Started – All you have to do is to find a manufacturer, create a website and you can pretty much sell in the next (more…)
