All right in this week’s performance nut butter vlog I have a bunch of updates it’s been a while since I’ve done a video a vlog about this and honestly they haven’t been that popular that’s one of the reasons I haven’t done it in a while and reason number two is I’m starting to have some competitors come up specifically one company in particular that completely ripped me off I mean they ripped off the exact macadamia coconut cashew they’re a much bigger company and they did some things that I think aren’t I don’t know if they’ll be successful I think they’ll be very successful because they’re such a big company but in the long run I don’t think they will be super successful I’m not gonna get into the details of why just in case they watch these videos I don’t want to give away too much but I’m probably gonna do a little bit less of these vlogs I’ll probably do them once a month or so just updating on the process of in the progress of performance nut butter.

Llet me give you some of the big highlights some of the lessons learned everything number one the bulletproof box was a huge success and put a little image of what it looked like there with all the different stuff huge success I’m still getting orders from that I’ve gotten you know a decent amount of orders from the bulletproof box I put a little coupon code in there. So that’s one of the things the website performance nut butter calm is finally live and you can go to check it out I think I have I have some kind of coupon code probably right now the kickstarter a coupon code I mentioned I think the last time was live I think right now you know I’ll do a special one I’ll do an effective e-commerce coupon code. So if you just type in effective e-commerce just let’s just say EEE you just put in the coupon code ie for the next week or two I’ll have a discount going let’s say a 15% off discount. So as a thank you to everybody that watches these vlog videos. So got that going on went to Expo West. So Expo West you’re not familiar with it it’s a trade show and. So all the different food companies go there manufacturers you know nut companies all these different fun things go to Expo West and I there and I you know just walked around I met a bunch of co-packers I met a bunch of manufacturers I met a bunch of different nut suppliers I met all kinds of different people and a lot of small businesses a lot of other small businesses that I’m going to network with and do giveaways with and all that kind of fun stuff Amazon is doing very well for me still Amazon is just crushing it with Amazon. So I’m very happy with that.

So I’m gonna continue to work on that I’m gonna continue to work on Amazon but that’s you know just one of the things I think my big next push is gonna be with influencers and affiliates for performance stuff butter and one of the last things is I’m finally working on production run number three. So production run number two is gonna be sold out in the next few weeks. So I shouldn’t get production run number three more or less just in time which is nice I made a mistake you know I’ll just share this is a little mistake I a check instead of doing a wire transfer for like an eighty five hundred dollar check to for these cashews that I was purchasing it’s probably done by me I probably should have just done the wire transfer just called it a day but I did not do that. So lesson learned there and yeah I’d say that’s that some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is I hate dealing with production I eventually need to pay someone just to deal with all of that. So that’s pretty much it and you know this might not have been the most exciting vlog actually but just a lot of work going on and I’m not doing as much work on it to be fair is I’d like to because I keep running out of inventory too quickly. So what I think that might mean is that I need to do like a back-to-back production run I do a production run and then I’m like a month late or do a second production run before I actually need it. So that might be one of the things that I do I’m also gonna be releasing the jars soon performance nut butter jars are coming out soon and that that might it’ll increase my sales a little bit but it might slow down the number of boxes that are sold because some of the people that bought the boxes might now buy the jars.
