In this episode of Ecommerce news, I have six content marketing ideas for this July a lot of them overlap of summer but specifically for this July and then at the end of this episode I’m going to give some updates on my ecommerce business what I’m doing with my own business. So the first content marketing idea I have for you is the fourth of July this is a pretty obvious one but let me get in some into some specifics on things you can do for the fourth of July. So some of the things that you can do is think specific to your niche. So maybe you have niche there older women 30 40 50   I probably even late 20s. So some ideas might be things like how to have a great Fourth of July party maybe your niche is the males 30 40 50. So you can do barbecue tips or things like that think about specifically what your niche likes and go after that some other ideas I have might be things like fashion tips. So maybe it is this would actually work both for guys and women in their s it could be like fashion tips for this fourth of July now if you really want to get specific and I recommend doing this if you have a very specific market like me. So I still dance clothing.

So I might do six let’s see six dance moves to celebrate the fourth of July something like that something very specific your niche the next thing the next content marketing idea I have for you is Canada today and if you don’t know Canada today is basically it’s a fourth of July rip-off sorry Canada but it’s kind of true it’s that it’s like their independence day kind of thing and they celebrate very similar to the way we do fourth of July. So you can do same kind of content marketing ideas is you do with Fourth of July the only difference is its July first. So you better get on it if you want to have do some content marketing for Canada today next up is movies July and summer in general are famous for their movies. So some ideas I have for you is you could do previews of movies reviews of movies you could also just talk about them one thing you might want to do is a top 10 list for whatever your demographic is and movie. So I might do top 10 summer blockbusters for dance that dancers need to watch that all dancers should watch or maybe you just have one movie it’s like every dancer should watch this one movie this summer dot dot and talk about the one movie and Wyatt why everyone should watch that. So that’s another idea for you on top of that summer’s here. So by the time this you’re watching this summer it’s July I mean June’s summer as well but July’s like man it’s a smack dab of summer. So you can make a list of activities that your demographic could do. So it could be like five cool things there are five ways to stay cool this summer for dancers or five things every dancer needs to do this summer obviously whatever your demographic is switch it up could also do things like travel spots or really anything to do during the summer which leads me to the next idea DIY topics.

So DIY is huge all year round but I think summer it really gets a big push because kids are off of school and you know it’s just jet in general people want to be doing things more outside one of your working with our hands a little bit more. So DIY projects I mean that’s that that that could be its own video itself to make some DIY top five DIY things to do for dancers or I know I keep saying that Dance Moms top five DIY dance projects for Dance Moms anyways things like that on top of that we have the Olympics are coming up. So if you probably for watching this video you know the Olympics are everyone around the world knows at the Olympics are this is a huge sporting event last four years ago when the London Olympics were the number of searches for Olympic related topics skyrocket it went up a hundred X what it is usually. So you maybe you could think about specific events that appeal to your demographics gymnastics would probably be for me I don’t know if there’s any Olympic dance events I should look that up like I do stuff around that and really try to cover it from a different angle than the typical news outlets or maybe I could even do something like the top five celebrate celebratory dances of Olympic athletes and that might gain some traction I can do little videos and clips of the different like moves that they do whatever. So that’s it for those topics now I’m gonna get a little quick update on what I’ve been up to and my own business and the first thing is we’re sending in our first FB a shipment the end of this week I’m really excited we’re we have everything going we’re producing all the clothing we’re going to send it in about items it’s only ten skews but I think or note skews we’re sending in of each of those.
