Don’t Sell Amazon FBA Until You See This

 

Don’t sell on Amazon FBA until you see this video there are three mistakes I see over and over and over again and it just kills me and I want to make sure you do not make any one of these three mistakes. So what are the three mistakes one your product sucks – you have no strategy and three your product page sucks. So let’s talk about how to fix all of these and I’ll show you some examples of good product pages versus bad product pages good strategy vs. bad strategy and good products versus bad products all that right here in this video. So first off when you’re making a product to launch on Amazon FBA you have to think to yourself what is special about this product if you’re selling the same thing is 100 other people good luck I see. So many people that want to sell the same supplements that everyone else sells and that makes life. So much more difficult because first off there’s nothing that much better about your product sure you have a slightly better brand or sure you have a slightly better this or that but unless you have something that’s really special it’s gonna be very hard to promote.

Just a quick example that I’ll use is I was talking to some people and they were selling fish oil and I’m like there’s already a hundred maybe a hundred thousand people selling fish oil out there how are you going to stand out as compared to my product performance nut butter that I just launched that is not only the branding different than anything else that’s out there but this product doesn’t exist there’s no macadamia coconut cashew blended nut butter the niche is totally different than all the other nut butters it’s it’s a premium product price down. So when you’re launching your product think about what’s gonna make your product special. So that’s number one number two most people make the mistake of not having a strategy ask yourself before you launch first off you should do this months before you launch how am I going to launch this product how am I going to get 275 reviews 100 reviews 300 reviews and – how are you gonna make that as easy as possible. So what I recommend doing building up an email list building up a facebook group building up some kind of a tribe that when you launch your product they’re pumped they’re gonna go buy it and leave five star reviews. So I talk about in a lot of my other videos I’ll link a video up here on how to build a tribe the launch of your Amazon FBA product next up number three your product page sucks and I have a video up here as well on how to make your product page better but let’s quickly go over some of my top hence you need a better title you need better images you need better bullet points you need a better description look at a product page on Amazon that just sells like crazy and look at what their title is look at what their images are look at what their bullet points in their description are and try to see how you can improve yours based on those look at your competitors look at your top competitor what are they doing.

For images it should be high quality images displaying the benefits of the product the title stuff it was some keywords at least as of right now Amazon rewards people that put a lot of good quality keywords in their title that might change in time bullet points this is your chance to highlight why people should buy your product in a very condensed concise form and then the description is kind of your last shot at convincing them to buy with a little bit longer of a description let’s start off with a good product page then I’ll show you a bad one and then I’ll show you my product page which has some good elements and some elements that need improvement. So this is a pretty good product page first off almost 14,000 customer reviews that is insane it’s uh it does pretty well the title is decent they could use more keywords there’s such a big company they have such a big marketing budget they don’t care about getting those keywords I’ll show you when we look at my product some of the keywords that I use in what I’m talking about there but their images are where they do very very well. So they have an image of the bar by itself an image of the package that you’re gonna receive they have but actually the bar looks like underneath all the packaging nutrition facts the ingredients some lifestyle photos they even have a video which you aren’t able to do because you’re a smaller company probably but they have you know this which is pretty interesting shows chocolate chip flavored. So it shows like what it’s gonna taste like without having to explain what its gonna taste like. So you know who’s gonna taste like chocolate chip cookie dough they have some decent bullet points and then in the description they use a brand enhanced brand content for the description which is all these beautiful photos I mean if you want to see what a good product page looks like come here now let’s contrast that with a bad one and then we’ll go to my product page. So this is pretty bad this isn’t the worst I’ve seen but it’s relatively bad. So they have pretty boring photos but at least they have a few photos I’ll give them credit for that there’s not even a white background.

It doesn’t look very professional Tiger nut butter they have a little bit of keywords in there but not too much as far as that they only have one bullet point that’s a major nono and their description is super boring and you know not that great also not very many reviews if you’re gonna launch a company like this you might as well try to get some reviews. So let’s up my look at my product page and I’ve got room for improvement for sure but if you look at my title I put a bunch of keywords in there I’m trying to rank for things like fat bomb and low carb and all these different things then I have some different lifestyle photos now I probably should put some of these photos higher up like this photo is not that great should probably be lower but I do have how you can eat it. So a photo showing the different ways to eat it I show it in action like an action shot of it being ripped open a product comparison chart looking at my competitors I could probably make that easier to read though to be honest and then bullet points really detailed bullet points that highlight some of the benefits once again I could probably do a better job at this this is version 1.0 for me now I don’t have the brand content yet I’ve just applied for it the enhanced brand content that you saw with the quest bar that’s that’s all this nice stuff. So I just have a boring old product description but at least I tried to do something interesting with it I you know I bowled this section and you know did all that fun stuff there also lots of reviews and specifically in my reviews I asked people hey could you put a photo could you put a video could you you know do some interesting looking stuff. So those are some different examples of good product page bad product page and then of course my product page which has some good stuff but also needs some improvement.
