PLAs, Why are They Powerful?

Today we will be talking about Product Listing Ads or also known as Google Shopping Ads and why they are so powerful compared to text adwords. Product Listing Ads will represent which image matches what someone is looking to buy, so they will click on it and there will be no guesswork. While with adwords, when someone clicks on it, it might not be what they are looking for. You’re looking for people to buy stuff, people who are ready to click that ‘Buy’ button and that’s where Product Listing Ads come in. With Product Listing Ads, there is a picture of an item and there is a price. So when someone clicks on it, they are going to know what is on sale. 7 Product Listing Ads and Google Shopping Success Secrets

Creating a well converting Google Ads can be tough. Sometimes it can be the simplest tip that will end up saving you the most money. Today we’re going to touch on 7 of the best tips to increase your conversions with Google ads. The first tip would be to have good images that stand out to your potential customers. Search some of the keywords relevant to your product and check out the other products already out there. Make sure that your photos are relevant to what is being searched, but also make sure that your image draws in the customer’s attention. Next, you’re going to want to make sure that your titles are keyword rich. This means that your title needs to be packed full of keywords that relate to your product and are going to attract buying customers when they search that keyword. Negative keywords are another huge component to driving your conversion rates up. It’s important to note which keywords fail to give you sales when searched. Since Google charges you based on when a customer clicks your ad, it’s important to note as many negative keywords as possible so that you’re not wasting money on a customer that isn’t going to buy from you anyways. Another great thing to do is remarket to these customers. Note which keywords are being clicked on and remarket that out to that demographic. It’s always important to review and adjust your ads as well. Check out which keywords are performing well and which keywords are not. If you’re noticing that one keyword is not performing well, turn it into a negative keyword. If you’re noticing that one keyword is doing very well, turn that into a text AdWord. Reviews are an incredibly important part of any successful product on Amazon as that is what a lot of customers base their product decisions on. Some key ways to get reviews include asking friends, family, strangers, forming a launch group, or sending out the free product in exchange for a review. PPC ads are another important key to increasing your Amazon profits. These ads are incredibly efficient as they boost your item in the search results. Another excellent way to optimize your product listing is to put as many keywords relating to your item as you can in your product title. By putting in images that showcase your products features and any details that set you apart from your competition, you increase your chances of someone purchasing your product. Shopify stores (and small businesses in general) are notorious for how fast they rise and fall. As a result, many people find themselves wondering why theirs does not work. In general, the number one reason that a Shopify store fails is that the items being sold are too general. The phrase generally used to narrow down the items sold to a target demographic would be ‘niche down’. The whole idea behind niche-ing down your store is to identify a target demographic, such as yoga moms in urban areas, and find an item that would fit suit to them. When everyone has the same idea of selling general merchandise on Shopify, it saturates the Shopify market. Some important questions to ask yourself when setting up your site might be: “Why would someone buy an item off of my site instead of Amazon?”. Or another great question could be: “Why would someone want to tell their friends about my product?”. This all ties into the concept of building a brand. Building a brand is a huge part of having a successful company; you want your potential customers to associate value with your brand and have it mean something to them. An example for this might be kayaks. You can go purchase a kayak on Amazon easily, what would make a potential customer want to purchase a kayak from you instead of Amazon? The answer put simply is brand recognition. Brand recognition is really the only reason small businesses are able to get by anymore since Walmart or Amazon has 99% of the market covered.
